Belief Beyond All Boundaries
BY BENNETT ROLAN, BSF DIGITAL EDITOR
Faisal doesn’t take a single BSF meeting for granted. For decades, Faisal and his family lived in a country where churches are scarce, prayer is hidden and Bibles are rare. Though they’ve been gone for several years, Faisal is grateful for every opportunity to study God’s Word openly.
“I can’t imagine how I managed it, but there was a purpose behind all of those years,” he shared. “I don’t see it as a loss of years, I see it as a gain.”
Faisal’s faith runs deep and he often shared the gospel, risking opposition for himself and his family. His co-workers even called him “the priest” because he steered everyday conversations toward biblical truth.
But Faisal wasn’t always committed to Christ. Without access to a Bible or a pastor to guide him, Faisal’s focus on financial success distracted him from questions about faith. His family’s background compelled him to value nationalism over religion, causing him to resent the idea of a Jewish Savior.
But God had plans for Faisal and his family. Just as He met Abram in the wilderness in Genesis 15, God undeniably called Faisal to Himself.
“There was some sort of a call, a voice, that said, ‘Faisal, you must go to church tomorrow.’ I don’t know if it was an audible voice, but it was clear to me. It was very strange. I just knew I had to obey, I couldn’t deny it. I told my wife, and she was very surprised. I just knew we couldn’t be late, as if I had a meeting with someone,” he said.
“The sermon was from 2 Kings, and I liked the story. It was the first time I had heard anything from the Old Testament. Toward the end, the pastor explained that sin had poisoned the whole world and through the blood of Jesus Christ there will be no more sin. Something I had never heard before crept into my mind. What is sin? Why would I need Jesus when I’m not a sinner?”
Following The Call
During the months that followed, the gospel consumed Faisal’s thoughts.
“It turned my whole life upside down,” he shared. “Somehow, I became miserable. It was a terrifying year actually. It was like a fight I had never encountered in my whole life. I was struggling with what I heard about Jesus, about sin, starting to ask myself, ‘Am I really a sinner? Do I need this Jesus the pastor was talking about?’ I kept hearing those words, that I am a sinner and only Jesus can purify me from that sin.”
Faisal remembers “acting like a madman,” trying to understand the gospel in a country where Christians don’t openly profess their faith.
“It was like my own Armageddon with God. I kept praying, ‘Leave me alone. I don’t want this happening in my life.’ Then, at the end of about a year and a half, I had another encounter with God. I saw the whole story of my life and it became obvious that the sinner the pastor was talking about was me. I always thought success would cover those things. Without actually knowing who He was, I knelt down and asked for grace. I didn’t own a Bible. It was a direct encounter between God and me.”
I saw the whole story of my life and it became obvious that the sinner the pastor was talking about was me.
As God said to Abram in Genesis 15:1, “I am your shield, your very great reward,” He faithfully revealed His character to Faisal. In the most unlikely of circumstances, the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Jesus drew Faisal out of the “wilderness” and into eternal hope.
Forsaking All Fear
When Faisal confided in his wife, she was shocked by her husband’s transformation. After years of meeting with Christians in the area, she felt alone in her faith. But the man who had wrestled with God for more than a year came to her with a spirit of worship.
The couple quickly became an integral part of a church network, often held in homes throughout the area. With limited Christian resources, Faisal and his wife quietly acquired Bibles and commentaries when they visited other countries.
“The Word of God was scarce, but I became deeply attached to it. The Word changed my life. I love the Word and the God of the Word.”
Meeting privately, Faisal’s small community of Christians drew close, bound by the grace that breaks all barriers.
“The only person who was present in our meetings was Jesus Christ,” Faisal shared. “We weren’t distracted by denominational differences or ‘what you believe, and I don’t believe.’ It was one of the most beautiful things.”
“We met three or four times a week, praying for God’s protection. The hardest choice our Father made, sending His Son to die for sinners, never left my mind. Remembering what Jesus endured on the Cross for me was worth any risk.”
The word of God was scarce, but I became deeply attached to it. The Word changed my life …
Firm In Faith
For Faisal, the faith God forged years ago still compels him to share the gospel at every opportunity. And when he was asked to help start a BSF group, the answer was easy. Looking for a meaningful way to serve the Lord, BSF provided a much-needed opportunity for Faisal to support his brothers in Christ.
“It’s completely different from a normal church or Bible study, where you sit down on a bench and listen to a pastor telling you what a passage is about,” Faisal said. “You get to dig to find value in the Word, you can talk and discuss and there is always something of value that you weren’t expecting.”
During this year’s Beginnings study, Faisal feels a deep connection to Abram in Genesis 15:6, who “believed the Lord, and He credited it to him as righteousness.” Just as God commanded Abram to remember, “I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to take possession of it” in verse 7, Faisal holds fast to the One who delivered him from sin into the land of eternal salvation.
“When you look at the world through God’s eyes, you feel obliged to tell everyone about His love and grace, what He has done for sinners like us,” Faisal shared. “We don’t always know God’s purpose, but if we listen and obey, we can trust that there is good in all things. God is all over the place, he will never leave a person. Even in a closed country, there are no boundaries for Him.”
Editor’s note: For the safety and security of Faisal and his family, names and other details were changed or omitted.
I am thankful that the Lord has no differences between his people. HE IS the Lord and CREATOR of us all. HE seeks us HE can and does use us in serving all over the world.
WAS SO TOUCHED BY FAISAL’S STORY, IT JUST RE-ENFORCES THAT JESUS CAN CALL US FROM ANYWHERE,ANYTIME IF WE ONLY LISTEN!
I am also amazed how our unstoppable Lord Jesus Christ who has reached out to bring Faisal to our family. Praise be to God.
A beautiful testimony and story that shows that no chains could bound Him, that no border can contain Him, not keep Him from entering into the heart of man.
praising my God all the time.the author and finisher of my faith.
merry Christmas to all of you full of God blessings.
those of us born naturally in Christian families sometimes don’t understand this sacrificial obedience.. may god use Faisal beyond normalcy..
Praising our Wonderful God!!!
Thank you for sharing this encouraging and inspiring testimony! I am reminded of just how blessed I am having become a believer in America and the freedom we possess ti openly share the gospel.
Our amazing God!!!!
Our amazing God!!!!
I’m always in awe of people who risk their lives to come to Jesus and study the Bible throughout the world! We are free to do so in the US, yet most people take it for granted or don’t bother-I’m praying for people to wake up to the Good News!
Glory be to God who gives us victory. Despite the difficulties Faisal receives and holds on God’s word and fellowship. Everything is possible with God
God is so good! It never ceases to amaze how our Lord reaches those who we might see as unreachable. His love reaches around the world. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing story.
This was a fascinating testimony. Thank you for sharing it!
What a blessing to hear God’s call and his response.
Thank you for the encouragement..God bless you always and your family..
What a wonderful way for us to encourage & be encouraged .To look at the world through GODS eyes is showing us how blessed we are him .how we can share his love to others .
May the God who called Faisal to His vineyard continue to protect him, feed him, carry him and use him to His glory. What we take for granted others are using as opportunities to speak about God and His love for humanity. I am challenged to speak about Him freely and frequently.
We appreciate all the encouragement in the name of Jesus.
This is wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing this story. I praise God who never gives up on His children! May His Word continue to minister to Faisal and his group. May all of us go out there and tell others about BSF and bring them to Christ.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING THAT STORY. WE TAKE THE FREEDOM OF STUDYING THE BIBLE FOR GRANTED AND NEVER STOP TO THINK ABOUT THOSE WHO CANNOT DO SO AND WHO GO THROUGH SO MUCH TO SPREAD THE WORD. GOD IS GOOD AND IN CONTROL. TO ME THAT IS PEACE AND CONTENTMENT IN THESE TROUBLED TIMES. BIBLE STUDY FELLOWSHIP HAS BEEN ONE OF MY LIFE’S GREATEST BLESSINGS AND I AM LESS THAN TWO MONTHS FROM MY 92ND BIRTHDAY!
No boundaries for God! The Church is unstoppable!
A powerful and encouraging testimony that brings tears to my eyes. Our God reigns!
The fact that this same message is permeating throughout the whole world at the same time is mesmerizing! Application is so relevant for understanding the world’s conflicts. The Book of Genesis takes us all the way back to the beginning of so much unrest. We know how to pray and overcome personal battles, which is key!
A very great testimony! I’m so glad I too found BSF. It makes such a difference in my life. It is always great to talk to other believers.
Powerful testimony ????Praise the Lord
More of His glory in your life
What an inspiring encounter with God who continues to draw people to Himself. As we yield to His by faith He reveals more of His love, grace and power to us.All we need is to trust and depend on Him completely.
Oh how great to see how when you’re anchored in God’s word your Faith strengthens. A wonderful testimony Faisal and your character of obedience. Thank God for always working to save us from our sinful nature..
“You get to dig to find value in the Word, you can talk and discuss and there is always something of value that you weren’t expecting.” I think this may be another motto for BSF studies. I myself find it excitint to dive into the Scripture and look for the jewels I haven’t seen before.
How great is our God,who showed the beautiful, challenging, and hopeful way to Faisal and family glorifying his name. God loves them and bless their gospel witnessing to everyone they meet.
I love this! God pursued Faisal; God kept running after him until Faisal responded to what God had to offer him – life changing, everlasting life. He makes the invitation to all.
For so long I went through the motions and God kept pursuing me and now I sense His presence & transformation that will be ongoing.
Beautiful account of God in Faisal’s life!
No matter the country or oppression HIS truth is the same. Thank you brother.
Thank you for your encouraging message I know many have been touched by it we need this more than ever now .
We praise about God for that testimony. There are no boundaries with God.

What an encouragement not to take our religious freedom for granted and also to know God is pursuing us everyday.
May we never forget what Jesus did for us on the cross.
God at work in our very midst! Glory to God in the highest!
This is a great example of God’s love for us all. He woos us and He works through others to cause us to think about Him first, then to trust Him. What a mighty God we serve. There is no limits to what He can and will do for His creation. Very inspiring story.
Praise be to the Lord that His Word can not thwarted. This testimony of Faisal is just one example of how God works in drawing one to Himself.
Today despite a world wide pandemic BSF with God’s direction has opened wide the opportunity for His Word to travel far and wide throughout the world.
Thank you for obedient servants and the indepth love of Jesus being accepted and growing in hearts now preparing for being in the eternal presence of God.
Thank you for this amazing testimony. Praise God for the wonder of His love and personal calling. May God continue to bless you in your faith.
I praise God for this wonderful testimony. I learn that God’s purpose and in our called is so powerful that nothing can stop it. I pray that He may hold and keep me in his ways for eternity
Amen.
It is my desire that the Lord may reign in my life and family that we may be a chosen family of priesthood, fully ordained for His work.
We wish Faisal and group God’s blessings in their challenges
Thank You for sharing this encouraging testimony.
In HIS Grip,
-Lois Jean
This story is the confirmation of God’s faithfulness to those who believe in Him. When God acts on me I cannot sit idle but tell His love to others. May His name be glorified. Amen
Faisal’s story is the confirmation of God’s faithfulness to those who believe in Him. When God acts on me I cannot sit idle but tell His love to others. May His name be glorified. Amen
Powerful testimony. It challenges me to re-examine my own walk with the Lord and to use privileges I have to do His work.
Praise the Lord for Faisal’s testimony. Thanks for sharing the need to go deep (or like my sister always remind me to immense) into the Words of Lord and have firm faith that our sovereign Lord God will guide and direct our way. Thanks for another wonderful testimony and God bless you and your family.
Thank you for sharing a miracle of God work in countries where the faith in jesus involves high risks and faith in a true and mighty God.Iam encouraged by this.Thats God works in may countries where the sharing of gospel publicly is forbidden except in secret. Iam also amazed that this happens in singapore and in EEC where migrants come to embrace the gospel through believers ministering to them though the church’s social work..
I feel challenged by this story because I have had freedom of worship since I was born, and now I am 58 years old. I have had access to church and scriptures since I can remember. May the Lord help me to maximize what I’m have by sharing His Word with others.
I love where Faisal says that “there is always something of value you weren’t expecting.” This is so true! Even when reading a passage that I’ve read many times before, I come away with something new. Sometimes it feels like the Holy Spirit has taken a highlighter to a particular word or phrase! And very often I get new insight from my group’s discussion or from the lecture or the notes.
God Bless this man & his family, what a beautiful testimony. Here we often take our freedom to worship for granted. BSF is different, it is such a blessing, an opportunity to study, to listen, to discuss & learn like no other.
Thanks – I’m in awe of our God when I hear of stories like yours. From every tribe and nation He calls!
Thank you for sharing your story. It it amazing how God can use his life to bring others to a saving knowledge of Jesus.
God bless you.
Thank you for sharing. So many times I take it for granted all the religious materials I have acquired over the years. After reading your story I see how blessed I am to live in a country that allows me to worship God everyday anywhere He leads me
Your testimony is like that of Jesus his first disciples. He said come and they followed him. When you heard the call, you went to church and he changed your life. What a great blessing for the people of your country. Also what an amazing testimony you have to share with the world.
God bless
Bless you and your family Faisal. How beautiful are the feet that carry the Gospel. Romans 10:15
Thank you Faisal for sharing your testimony! It gives me chills to hear stories like this. The power and love of God to call you out of the wilderness and your acceptance of His free gift and willingness to share with others offers hope to a hurting and lost world! Thank you from California.
Praise HIM,the GOD most high ,GOD almighty, the GOD of Glory
Thank you, Faisal for sharing your story. Praying for you, your family and your country.
I was trying to remember the versa in Genesis that said God is my shield 3 nights ago and where I’d see it because I remembered “God is my shield” but that was all . I was overwhelmed when I read it in this story. I won’t forget it now!
Praise and worship to “the God who sees us” Gen 16:13
And thank you Faisal, for your witness.
What a great way to start Thanksgiving Day,
reminding us all, that we have been blessed to be a blessing.
What a inspiring testimony of Thanksgiving day, also the comments.Like Abraham ,
What a great way to start Thanksgiving Day,

Thank you for sharing this incredible story of faith in the midst of adversity. I am inspired. Indeed He is the God of the word.
Thank you Faisal for this inspiring message. May God continue to use you to share the gospel and may He provide even more labourers into the harvest field. We will keep you in our prayers and may He continue to watch over you and your family.
Psalm 91: 1-2 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust”
Luke 15:10, In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
May your whole family follow you, Faisal! Amen!!!
GOD is always ready, are we?
Great witness
I love where Faisal says “ there is always something of value you weren’t expecting “ in his description of the BSF study! Me too -Me too! I want to praise Him for this great reward for our little time devoted to His word is rich reward!

God bless you for sharing,it is so encouraging.
Inspiring. Thank you Faisal ?
I am grateful for God’s Gift of Salvation. I am thankful for God’s Word that stands forever. BSF has helped me to receive a better understanding. I feel I am now able to share His word with my family and others. I am being blessed each day to give God The GLORY!
So much of what we take for granted with freedom of worship is truly a GOD GIVEN GIFT. Faisal’s wife’s faithful prayers helped prepare his heart to be open to the HOLY SPIRIT’s working. How inspiring that he & his family are being LIGHTS in a dark place! Thank you, BSF, for continuing to reach out all over the world to bring new brothers & sisters into the FAMILY OF CHRIST! ?????
Thankyou so sharing your story.
We are so incredibly blessed to live in our country where we are free to worship openly.Beautiful testimony of God’s loves us so uniquely.
God sees the heart and pursues us relentlessly without giving up on us!! What a gracious God we serve.
This is highly inspiring. I see the need to arise and share the gospel of Jesus Christ at every opportunity. May our Lord protect Faisal’s family as they obey this great commission. I will keep on remembering them as i pray to God to equip me for his work.
How wonderful and inspiring this testimony is! And indeed as we have learned in BSF, God calls ordinally people, reveals himself to them and uses them for His work. Faith is indeed at work.
Oh! Praise the living GOD who never leaves norforsake us. Thank you for sharing this inspiring message. May i continue to remember pray for our brethren to hunger and thirst more for God. Bless this family to go on and never tire. Praise God!
I am encouraged so much, indeed Jesus left His heavenly home to go to battle for our sins. May He protect Faisal as he answers the call of God upon his life daily.
This study on Abraham has hit me very personally & “The God who sees me” has really resonated with me. Although I’ve been a Christian since about age 9 and grew up a PK (Pastor’s Kid) & learned a lot about Abraham, God has really opened my understanding to a much deeper, more intimate walk with Him. He is showing me how much my story parallels Abraham’s. It has been a real struggle but God is doing so much healing & intimacy through this study. Thank you for the depth of these lessons!
Thanks to our God Almighty for creating BSFER’S fraternity of believers led by Executive Director Susie Rowan.let me take this opportunity to say I been a member of BSF now for six years and fully concur with my brothers and sisters that the Word of God is
Positively revolutionary. From Genesis to Revelation is about Jesus Christ and Melchizedek being in ancient lineage pointing to Saviour of the world. Thanks BSF Leaders who have been a blessings to many of us.Keep the fire burning and stay blessed in Jesus Name. Amen.
Almighty God sees us. He sees our loneliness, despair, struggles, disappointment, pain, doubts e.t.c and He comes to say `PEACE, BE STILL’ and there is great calm within us
What a gracious and merciful God is our God. Always seeking out the lost, not waiting for us to come looking for Him! because we would never come!
Well done Faisal! It’s just so awesome that God calls out whosoever, whensoever because He is Sovereign Lord!
Thanks for the reminder to steer everyday conversations towards biblical truths.
God opened his eyes and ears and he listened and started praying and reading the Bible.
I pray that he eventually gets baptized and grows stronger in faith.
Thank you for sharing how God continues to pursue us to further building His kingdom. Prayers for brother and his family through out his continuous faith in serving our Lord and Savior. Our God will never leave us nor forsake us. God bless you so much!
Inspiring and encouraging testimony. “God drew Faisal out of the wilderness and into eternal hope”. Praise God!
Very inspiring, seizing an opportunity to serve God in hardship is one of the hardest decisions. May God continue to strengthen us to serve Him boldly.
Amen, we bless the Lord
Faisal, Sheau, and all leaders – May our Lord give you a bountiful harvest, producing many disciples who in turn will produce many more disciples! Until the whole world hears the Good News of salvation in Jesus!
Thank you for sharing your testimony. I am very encouraged. Truly no boundaries can ever stop God’s love to touch and change our lives.
Completely trust and obey God’s word + reflect with confidence!
I am so happy for this brother and his family! Thank you for sharing!
As I was praying this week, I spoke out loud to God that “no matter how much a country’s leader tries to keep the people from knowing the God of the Bible, His Spirit transcends all anti-Christ propaganda.” Faisal’s story just reinforced my belief that the Spirit of God can transform anybody, even if they have never seen a Bible. I truly believe that God can and does assist us in carrying out the command that Jesus gave to us at the end of Matthew 28. I will remember Faisal and other’s like him in my prayers. God bless him and his family.
Hallelujah! To God be the glory
Amazing Grace can only be found in Jesus Christ and his finished work.Thank God for the life of Faisal and the like, testifying to a life of a new beginning.
Praise God for this man and his family. May we ALL remember how blessed we are to have the freedom to carry our Bibles, read , study and worship openly TODAY here in the USA. THANKS FOR THE Great reminder.
I like the bit about God is all over the place He will never leave a person even in a closed country. In deed God’s eye is on the sparrow and He watches over those who put their trust in him
Am inspired by this testimony,God continue revealing Himself in all possible ways for the glory of His name
Elohim the mighty One moves heaven and earth just to pursue each one of us with His great love. How can we reject Him. May we be a channel of His great love in pursuing others too. To God be all the glory.
Faisal believed God and it counted to him as righteousness
Praise the Lord! As I am a new group leader, the new journey is full of heavenly goodness. Thanks to God for Faizal’s testimonial. Indeed God is my greatest reward and I am thankful that I am part of BSF ministry now, with His endless blessings through in-depth Bible study and sharings among group members.
Seeing Faizal’s challenging situation of not getting biblical resources freely has made me treasure more of the resources I could easily get at hand, for the time being.
All glory to God.
Very inspiring and touching to see how God works wonders in His People! I echo with Faisal in his sharing that “remembering what Jesus endured on the Cross was worth any risk”- may the Lord continue to use me to serve Him, Amen
I was impressed by the words of God, it reminded me again, in Just as God commanded Abram to remember, “I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to take possession of it” in verse 7. Like many of us, God has delivered us from the pit and lead us to eternity. His glory revealed through all of us. Thank you for this timely message.
Very true. Encouunter with God. He’s chosen by God. I’ve been praying for a family member to accept Jesus. I will start praying that one day he’ll have encounter with Jesus
Wonderful Testimony. Inspiring and encouraging.God is Faithful and He is able. The name of the Lord is a strong tower the righteous run to it and are safe.Proverbs.18:10.
I am so grateful for this testimony and I praise God for the way he drew Faisal to himself. I have been meeting weekly with someone dear to me, and looking at the scriptures together. She is very interested and makes great observations, but is yet to say she wants to be a follower of Jesus! Knowing God works and works and calls brings me joy and confidence that in His timing, this dear one will too become a believer!
I will praise the
Lord for drawing you unto Himself for His Glory and your eternal life. I am happy that you have joined the BSF FAMILY.
Am glad you know JESUS CHRIST NOW . Take Him with all your Heart and He will lead you in your life.
Be Blessed
Praying tha t” Faisal and his family” be always fruitful in this wonderful journey with the Lord. and bring a multitude of souls from his area to the Lord.
What a divine appointment from God! I love hearing God stories. These stories are what gives encouragement to those who prayer. As Ms. Johnson said in her book-: May the message of the Lord spread rapidly and be honored. That has been my prayer!
Beautiful
A powerful testimony of what God can do when He gets a hold of a heart! Thank you for sharing your journey with Him.
You can’t be in a better place than BSF!
Very encouraging testimony. Sometimes those of us who have unlimited access to the word of God, with a variety of churches to choose from tend to take things for granted. May His Grace continue to abound in us.
Wonderful testimony! Praise God and so thankful for His love for us!
Amen! So very encouraging during this difficult time.
What a great man of faith!!!!
May God multiply your work for Him. Many blessings!
My name Xiuping zhang , I have been Live in Las Vegas 8 year’s, right now I am studying BFF of Chinese mandarin Group, I would like to study English Bible, because I English don’t very well, I want to push my English words. So I contact to you , I hope you agreed my request. Thanks !

Marvellous! indeed GOD’s PATIENCE to guide this man and help him to enter BSF’s MINISTRY,I am so happy to see him LOVING The TRUTH! The BIBLE is The TRUTH! 3 Jean verset 4 :…”I have no greater JOY than this,to hear that my children are walkingin the truth.”
This account bears powerful witness. It shows how the Spirit and Word can redeem anyone whose heart is open to God.
PTL!!!—for He alone brings sinners to GRACE!!!
I love to hear the gospel story played out in such a beautiful way that only our perfect heavenly Father can do. With thanksgiving to our Creator God for how He works in our life’s. Phil. 2:13 was a verse reference in our homework this week and it says for God is the one working inbus to hive us the desire and power to do what pleases Him. Im glad for this truth and for BSF that brings Gods word into my life.
I love this testimony, I love that Faisal does not take any BSF lesson for granted, I love that during the time of fellowship with the believers in his home no one cared about any differences only about Jesus. He was everything and Jesus is indeed everything. Thank you for this amazing testimony.
PraiseGod for this miracle filled journey. He never gave up on this dear family! Oh what a glorious picture of the gift of Grace from God!
I came to the Lord so late in life I am filled with this urgency to catch up, to share and always praise Jesus. Thank you for sharing this account. I am not alone. ~ Donna Day, Servant of God
No one is too “bad” for Jesus. After all, He said, “ I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:32). He has plenty of space for the tough cases—— people like you and me. Keep sharing your heart, Faisal!
What a beautiful story of Faisal’s salvation! No doubt there were many prayers for him, from his wife. Faisal’s story comes from his heart! May we all pray for the lost souls. I know God has their names, and many will follow Him, but it will be in His time. When He calls, run! Trust and Faith in God are a given for believers. BSF families shine with Jesus’ light!
Nancy S.
I have to admit that I am always amazed and yes even jealous of the astounding loving grace poured out by our Father God to those in countries of the severest persecution. While we with all our different denominations, freedoms, bible study groups seem to take all for granted. God grant us all the grace to treasure our faith, like Faisal; and share it with any and every lost soul God puts in our path. Such an encouraging story!
Very very encouraging testimony, Our God really picks us from dirt and makes us pure before Him. l praise Him alone.
This is the sort of faith we miss so much in parts of the world where we can worship freely. Amazing. Thank you for sharing this story. I read every word.
I am so grateful for people like Faisal who are willing to take risks to spread the Word of God. This Thanksgiving Day of 2020 I am so thankful that we still have the freedom to worship God and I am praying that freedom will never be taken from us.
Thank you Sir for always Sharing The Gospel in a dieing world
May God Bless You and Your Family Exceedingly and Abundantly
Your Blog has been a Blessing For Me
Thank you for this inspiring story of how God called and worked in Faisal’s life. This encourages me to trust God for my family’s salvation. God is good!
A very inspiring testimony
Trust in the Lord with all your heart & lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him & He WILL direct your path. Prov 3:5-6
ap.degz@sympatico.ca
Lord help me to have faith like Faisal. To not fear and proclaim your word to the world.
We thank God for what He is doing among those where the Gospel is greatly opposed. Thank you for sharing your testimony!
God bless those who have to struggle to get Bibles
Unlike i can go to churches close to me. I started going to BSF and we study God’s word. I gave up on church. Lo and behold I was invited to go to a meeting. Did not like it. Then another meeting sporadically. Was very scepter. And the way was by an understanding trying to pick at the readings. Slowly I learned what they were trying to teach about God and not religion. Make a big difference being taught not memorize but what it was and quit yelling at God and began to learn
Praise be to our Lord who by grace called and rescued Faisal out of the darkness just as He did for all of us who call Him Lord.
Thank you for publishing this story. I get so many emails in the morning, I almost skipped it, but am so glad I didn’t. What a story of God’s grace. Sometimes, those of us who have been Christians for a long time forget how strange and new the concepts of the Bible can seem to someone embedded in a different worldview and religious perspective. How gracious our God is Who leads them out of the mire clay and sets their feet on His Rock.
What a great story of your faith in our God, you are inspiring 🙂
To God be the glory: great things He hath done!!! The saving blood of Jesus. Allelujah!!! We have a faithful , loving God.
Congratulations Faisal: faith in action. May you grow more in the wisdom , knowledge and love as you continue to read The Word.
Glory and Praise to God.His ultimate goal is that all may be saved. We thank Him for the many lives He continues to bring to His fold.BSF is indeed touching lives and deepening the faith of believers.
Great is the Lord and most worthy of all praise!
Encouraging testimony.
God is at the door of each one of us, waiting for us to open and receive His Grace and blessings? Faisal story is amazing and beautiful, it’s a the faith that conquered the fear and the society.
What a wonderful story of salvation for Faisal. God kept nudging Faisal and made him aware of his sin and the need for a Savior. God doesn’t give up on us and we shouldn’t give up on God. He is faithful and our shield. Turn to Him in gratitude. He is your strength.
God will reach us in the way only He can plan. We are so blessed to have the Word, leaving us inexcusable to not love, study and read it.
Such a warming pleasure to read Faisal’s story. These kind of testimonials should be shared more often to the BSF groups around the world. So many groups are long-established, in Christian areas of the world, and do not often relate to the struggles others have in their encounter with Christ in countries that denounce or try to eradicate Jesus Christ. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful. It is so inspiring to hear in a country that is closed to Christianity, God is able to show up and touch a person’s heart, He is so amazing.
Wao, this is touching. God bless you Faisal
There are no boundaries for God! Is there anything too hard for the Lord! Glory to God!

It is always exciting to hear about the scope of BSF in the world, drawing men, women and children into the study of God’s Word. I love the last line in Faisal’s story. To the praise of our God, “…there are no boundaries for Him!”

What a testimony!
May we who are privileged to have the Word in various forms , easily accessible, not take it for granted.
He speaks even now!
